On our way home from the rainforest, we drove by Crescent Lake. The water is so clean, it looks blue. 

After the rainforest, Sarah and I stopped in La Push. This was the first west coast beach I had ever been to. 

Sarah and I went to the Hoh National Rainforest. We walked the Hall of Mosses trail. It was beautiful.

Snowy Owl in Seattle!

We read an article that some snowy owls migrate to Seattle for the winter months so we decided to go looking for one in an area where they had been spotted. Turns out there were two that had settled into the Sunset Hill neighborhood.  We were able to get some pictures of the one below.
